The Ridge, Shimla

The Ridge road is a large open space, located in the heart of Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, India.



It runs east to west alongside the Mall Road, and joins it at the Scandal Point on the west side. On the east side, The Ridge road leads to Lakkar Bazaar, a wooden crafts market.
The biggest hillstation of the world, at one time the base ridge of Shimla had the thickest forest of the area, now the green slopes are covered with first



 pines, the Himalayan oak and carmine rhododendron trees, among which are dotted red-roofed chalets, half-timbered houses and Gothic Government buildings are visible from The Ridge.

Khir Ganga

Khirganga is situated in Parvati Valley at a distance of 22 km from Manikaran. For Khirganga, one has to go by motor-able road up to a place called ‘Barshaini’ and from there to Khirganga on foot.  This trek leads through hilly terrain. This is the place where ‘Kartik Ji’, the elder son of ‘Lord Shiva’ remained in ‘samadhi’ for thousands of years. Kheer Ganga is one of the most refreshing treks that you can go on anywhere. Adi Brahma Temple

Adi Brahma Temple, Khokhan,  Himachal Pradesh .The four-tiered magnificent hansakara structure of the Adi Brahma temple is about 2,000 cms. tall. The formal arrangement of the temple as a whole is graceful, although the bottom tier is disproportionately wider.  Adi Brahma Temple is located in village Khokhan just 4 km from Bhuntar towards north, on a link road starting from Shamshi moving towards the village Khokhan at about same elevation as of Dayar temple of Vishnu across the valley.
